Terms And Conditions

Last updated: 19.05.2026

Welcome to 1Travel. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website 1travel.kz, its subdomains, and the 1Travel mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by [Galamat Tech LLP], BIN [BIN], registered at [ADDRESS], Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan ("1Travel", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

  • Platform — the website 1travel.kz, its subdomains, and the 1Travel mobile application.
  • User — a person of legal age (18+) with full legal capacity who has created an account on the Platform or who books or uses services through the Platform, either for themselves or on behalf of another person they are authorized to represent.
  • Partner — a third-party legal entity or individual entrepreneur (hotel, glamping operator, tour operator, guide, transport provider, national park, attraction, etc.) offering services through the Platform.
  • 1Travel Services — services organized and delivered directly by 1Travel, including but not limited to curated group tours, custom itineraries, the AI itinerary tool, the Wallet module, the SOS/safety module, guide coordination, and other proprietary services described on the Platform.
  • Partner Services — services provided by Partners and accessible for booking through the Platform, including accommodation, excursions, transfers, and similar travel services.
  • Booking — a confirmed reservation of a Service made by the User through the Platform.

2. The Platform and Our Role

1Travel operates as a Digital Destination Management Company (DMC) for inbound tourism in Kazakhstan. The Platform combines two distinct functions, and your rights, our obligations, and the limits of our liability depend on which one applies:

(a) 1Travel Services — we are the direct provider. For services that 1Travel organizes and delivers itself (such as curated group tours, custom itineraries, guide coordination, AI itinerary, Wallet, and SOS), we act as the service provider. We are responsible for the proper provision of these services in accordance with these Terms and the specific service description shown at the time of booking.

(b) Partner Services — we act as an intermediary. For services delivered by Partners (hotels, glampings, excursions, transfers, national park entries, and similar), 1Travel acts solely as a technology platform connecting Users with Partners. The contract for those services is concluded directly between the User and the Partner. Partners are responsible for the description, availability, quality, and delivery of their services, and for compliance with applicable law. 1Travel is not the agent, representative, or affiliate of any Partner.

The Platform clearly indicates which category a service falls into at the time of booking.

3. Eligibility and Account

To create an account and use the Platform you must:

  • be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity;
  • provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date;
  • be legally authorized to act on behalf of any third parties for whom you make bookings, and inform those persons of the applicable booking conditions;
  • be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including safeguarding your login credentials.

You must notify us immediately at [SUPPORT EMAIL] of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, provide false information, attempt to defraud Partners or 1Travel, or engage in conduct that harms other Users, Partners, or the Platform.

4. Bookings and Confirmation

Booking process. When you submit a booking, you are making an offer subject to acceptance. A booking becomes binding only when you receive a confirmation with the status "Confirmed" in your account, by email, or by SMS to the contact details you provided.

For some Partner Services, confirmation is automatic. For others, the Partner must manually confirm availability within the timeframe shown on the Platform (typically up to 12 hours, or up to 12 hours from the start of the Partner's business day if the Partner does not operate 24/7). If a booking is declined, you will not be charged.

Accuracy of booking data. You are responsible for reviewing your booking details — dates, number of guests, names, contact information, and any special requirements — before confirming. If you notice any discrepancies, you must contact our support immediately at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. 1Travel is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate information you provided.

Identity documents. You must hold valid travel documents (passport, visa where required, and any other documents required for entry to Kazakhstan, accommodation, or use of the booked services). You are solely responsible for ensuring you meet all entry, visa, health, and customs requirements. 1Travel does not provide immigration or visa advisory services.

5. Prices and Payment

Prices. All prices are shown on the Platform in the currency indicated (typically Kazakhstani tenge — KZT). Where prices are displayed in other currencies (USD, CNY, EUR), the actual charge in KZT may differ slightly due to exchange rates applied by your bank or payment provider. Applicable taxes are included unless otherwise stated.

Payment methods. The Platform accepts payment via international credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and, where available, via Chinese payment systems such as WeChat Pay and Alipay, and other methods listed at checkout. Payment is processed by licensed third-party payment providers; 1Travel does not store full card data.

Payment timing. Depending on the Service and Partner rules, payment may be required in full at the time of booking, as a partial prepayment, or upon arrival. The applicable payment terms are shown before you confirm the booking.

Currency conversion and fees. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees or international transaction fees. These charges are not controlled by 1Travel.

6. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

Partner Services. Cancellation, modification, and refund rules for Partner Services are set by the relevant Partner and shown on the booking page before you confirm. By completing the booking you accept those rules. To cancel or modify a Partner Service booking, use your account on the Platform within the timeframe permitted by the Partner. Refunds, where applicable, are returned to the original payment method within ten (10) business days of cancellation approval.

1Travel Services. For services provided directly by 1Travel, the following default rules apply unless a different policy is shown at booking:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the start date — full refund minus a 5% administrative fee.
  • Cancellation 7–14 days before the start date — 50% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the start date — no refund.
  • No-show — no refund.

Force majeure. If a Service cannot be delivered due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, government actions, border closures, epidemics, strikes, etc.), 1Travel will work with you and the Partner to reschedule the booking or, where reasonable, provide a refund. We are not liable for losses caused by such events.

Changes by Partners. If a Partner is unable to honor a booking, the Partner is responsible for offering you a comparable alternative or a refund. 1Travel will assist in coordinating, but the financial responsibility remains with the Partner.

7. User Conduct

When using the Platform and the Services you must:

  • comply with all applicable laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, your home country, and any country you visit;
  • respect the rules of Partners (check-in/check-out times, occupancy limits, conduct rules, age restrictions, etc.);
  • not create duplicate or fraudulent bookings;
  • not use the Platform to harass, defraud, or harm others;
  • not attempt to interfere with, scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise misuse the Platform or its underlying systems;
  • not resell or commercially redistribute Services without our prior written consent.

We may cancel bookings, suspend accounts, and pursue legal remedies in response to violations.

8. Travel Risks and Safety

Travel — particularly outdoor and nature-based travel in Kazakhstan (mountains, lakes, deserts, national parks) — involves inherent risks. You acknowledge that:

  • you participate in Services at your own risk;
  • you are responsible for evaluating whether a Service is appropriate for your health, fitness, and experience level;
  • you should obtain adequate travel and medical insurance before traveling;
  • you must follow safety instructions provided by 1Travel, guides, and Partners.

The SOS module and other safety features on the Platform are supplementary aids and do not replace emergency services. In a genuine emergency, contact local emergency services directly (in Kazakhstan: 112).

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including the 1Travel name, logo, design, text, graphics, code, and proprietary tools (such as the AI itinerary feature) — is owned by 1Travel or licensed to us, and is protected by Kazakhstani and international intellectual property law.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Content uploaded by Partners (descriptions, images) is the responsibility of those Partners; complaints about such content should be sent to [SUPPORT EMAIL].

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • For Partner Services, 1Travel's role is limited to providing the booking technology. We are not liable for the quality, safety, accuracy, or delivery of Partner Services. Our maximum liability in connection with a Partner Service is limited to the commission we received for that booking.
  • For 1Travel Services, our total liability for any claim is limited to the total amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
  • We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics, government actions, internet or payment system failures, or actions of third parties.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law.

11. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those websites. Accessing them is at your own risk.

12. Modifications

We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, our Services, applicable law, or business practices. The current version is always available at [LINK]. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] with a written description of your complaint. We will respond within thirty (30) calendar days. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the Specialized Inter-District Economic Court of Almaty.

This clause does not affect mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

This Cookie Policy explains how [Galamat Tech LLP], BIN [BIN] ("1Travel", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website 1travel.kz and the 1Travel mobile application (collectively, the "Platform").

This Policy should be read together with our [Privacy Policy], which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and improve your experience.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs in the mobile app, and tags. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this Policy.

Cookies may be:

  • Session cookies — temporary, deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.
  • First-party cookies — set by 1Travel directly.
  • Third-party cookies — set by partners and service providers we work with (such as analytics or payment providers).

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

We use four categories of cookies. You can manage your preferences for non-essential categories at any time through our cookie consent banner or browser settings.

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the Platform to function. They cannot be switched off in our systems. They include cookies that:

  • keep you logged in to your account;
  • maintain your shopping cart and booking session;
  • enable secure payment processing;
  • protect against fraud and abuse;
  • remember your language and currency selection.

Without these cookies, parts of the Platform will not work.

Legal basis: legitimate interest / necessary for performance of a contract. No consent required.

2.2 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as:

  • remembering your preferences (recently viewed destinations, saved trips);
  • pre-filling forms with your previous inputs;
  • adjusting the interface based on your device.

If you disable these, some features may not work as expected.

Legal basis: consent.

2.3 Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how Users interact with the Platform — for example, which pages are most visited, where Users come from, and how long they spend on a page. We use this to improve content and performance.

Typical providers we use include Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica, and similar tools. These providers may aggregate data across users; where they process data on our behalf, they do so under data protection agreements.

Legal basis: consent.

2.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies

These cookies track your browsing across websites to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertising on the Platform and elsewhere. They also help us measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

Typical providers include Google Ads, Meta (Facebook), and Chinese marketing networks where relevant for the inbound tourism market.

Legal basis: consent.

On our Platform. When you first visit, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies via a banner. You can change your choices at any time by clicking the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer.

In your browser. Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies. Help is available in your browser's documentation:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions

On mobile devices. You can manage advertising identifiers in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Platform from working properly.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for responding to DNT. The Platform does not change its behavior based on DNT signals, but we honor cookie preferences you set through our consent banner.
